General Conditions

These General Conditions provides the terms and conditions for participation in the “Bangalore Yaoshang Cheiraoba Thabal 2018” (“Event”) organized by Manipuri Meitei Association, Bangalore (“Organiser” which mean to include members and sponsors). By participating in the Event you agree to the following:

1. The Organiser may charge an admission fee and may refuse admission in the premises where the Event is held. The Organiser shall have the right to ask you to leave the Event at any time for any reason. An admission fee once paid shall not be refunded.

2. The Organiser may cancel the Event if circumstances arises which are beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, war, civil or political unrest, terrorism or inclement weather conditions.

3. The Organiser reserves the right to change the date and venue of the Event or make other alterations to the Event. Any changes to the Event shall be communicated as soon as possible.

4. You are encouraged to come in traditional attire. Avoid objectionable dress. The organizer is not responsible for any unwanted consequences.

5. Participation in the Event is considered “at your own and sole risk”.

6. Organiser assumes no liability to the participants for any breach, loss, damage, claims, fines, charges, costs, theft, expenses or injury to persons or property whether arising in contract, negligence, equity or otherwise.

7. In no event shall the Organiser be liable to the participants or third party for any special or consequential, punitive, or incidental damages (including, without limitation, loss of profits, revenues or data), whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence or strict liability) or otherwise and regardless of the form of the legal action, even if you have been advised of the possibility of any such loss or damage.

8. ORGANISER’S TOTAL LIABILITY IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE EVENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE REGISTRATION FEE PAID BY THE PARTICIPANT.

9. You expressly and irrevocably renounce, for yourself, your legal heirs and successors in title the right to any recourse or claims whatsoever against the Organiser with respect to any losses, damages or injuries suffered in the participation of the Event.

10. You grant your irrevocable and unconditional consent to the Organiser to photograph or video shoot or record you and your participation in the Event and to copyright, use or publish your photographs, digital images, video and audio recording for any purposes in any advertisement, communications, social media and promotions of any kind what so ever with or without your name.

11. These General Conditions shall be governed by laws of India, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, India.
