Postponed Annual Freshers' Meet cum Social Gathering 2010.

We are very sorry to inform you all that the Annual Freshers' Meet cum Social Gathering which was planned to organize on tomorrow, the 25th of September 2010, Saturday at Convocation Hall, Arts Faculty Delhi University for the students from Manipur in Delhi, has been postponed until a further information is given indicating exact date and place where the function is to be held, due to unexpected bad and filthy conditions of the said hall resulting in its roof being fallen down.

Due to this condition of the hall, the authority has informed us yesterday telling us about the cancellation of the programmes in the hall till December for its renovation, with immediate effect.

We did not inform you all yesterday and doing so only today as we have been searching for an another alternative hall to be able to hold the programme by tomorrow by just changing the earlier published venue. However, everything went in vain as all the halls have been barred from holding any programme till the end of the soon to be started Common Wealth Games, 2010. We thus, will try to organize Annual Freshers' Meet cum Social Gathering for the students from Manipur as soon as the CWG 2010 ends.

We are again very sorry for such an unexpected postponement. We request everyone to wait until an information telling a new exact date and venue for the programme is given.

The inconvenience thus caused, is highly regretted.

It is hereby notified to all the Manipuri students in Delhi that Manipur Students' Association Delhi is organising the Annual Freshers' Meet Cum Social Gathering "APUNBANA YAIPHARE" on 25th September 2010 at Convocation Hall, Arts Faculty, University of Delhi, Delhi -7, 10 a.m. onwards.

Freshers are, therefore, informed to register their name to participate in the Freshers' Introduction latest by 25th September 2010, 10 a.m.

Outstanding students scoring atleast 55% aggregate marks in arts stream and atleast 65% aggregate marks in science and other streams in the last undergraduate examinations are informed to submit their mark sheet for Meritorious Award latest by 6 p.m. 24th September 2010.
