Imphal, August 07: Refuting the claim of the KNF (S) and KSO that it was behind the kidnapping of Jangkhapao alias Jangpao (15) son of Lumjang of Churachandpur, Jamlanfai, the proscribed PREPAK today said the charges were baseless aimed at tarnishing its image.

In a statement self styled secretary in charge of department of publicity and propaganda of the outfit, Aheiba Angom said that the agenda of the KSO and KNF(S) will never succeed and reminded that PREPAK had already announced that it will suspend recruitment of any new cadres till October 1 this year.

The outfit also decried the claim that it used tablets/intoxicants to silence the kid during the kidnapping time.
