James yet to sing, IM sure of his guilt

Imphal, January 14: Prime suspect in the Elizabeth murder case James Kuki is still refusing to directly confess of his involvement in the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Lungnila Elizabeth, according to the NSCN-IM�s Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP).

Informing this to the Newmai News Network this evening at Dimapur, the outfit�s MIP officials said that although James Kuki had named four persons, all from Manipur who were said to be involved in the case, he had been sidelining himself from the case.

The outfit�s MIP deputy Kilonser Kraibo Chawang however said that from the cross examination of the information James Kuki has disclosed, it is hundred percent sure that James Kuki is the kingpin in the murder case of Elizabeth.

Chawang said that the NSCN (IM) may take at least two weeks to complete the whole investigation regarding the Lungnila Elizabeth murder case.

Various telephone numbers of those involved in the case have been extracted from James in the course of the interrogation by the outfit�s Crime Cell, said the outfit leader adding that the phone numbers have revealed more names.

The Government of India or no one has approached the outfit officially till this evening said the MIP kilonser.
