Arguments divulge idiocy while discussions amplify knowledge
- Few Words from a Doctorate -

To start with, I would like to thank my critics. It was really a great response from you all. And I am very thankful for it. I may be poor in English and it may be the weakest point of mine even though, I hope I can express my points clearly this time. Anyway, I am very proud to say that my poor English couldn't be able to stop me in getting my PhD done. Now you can call me, "A PhD with poor English". :)

Scoring marks well in exam is a vital part in the life of a student. And please, do give me a chance to explain my point first. My statement doesn't mean that we have to study just to score marks. I am no more in my schooling. I have a clear idea how does education differ from literacy. Back to my points, our mark is a proof how much we have known and what is our knowledge in our respective fields (without using unfair means). If it weren't then, would there be any word called, exam? And my yet unpublished book is on that.

Your marks card plays an important role in shaping your future. You are going to choose your career according to your marks. You can't explain with words that I am very good in class but I didn't do well in exam, so let me give the test; my son is very good in study, but he always comes last in his class. Practically, would you believe in these terminologies? No! Because this is stupidity. It doesn't make any sense. Our society doesn't need only words to prove your excellence.

In my high school days, my teachers used to tell me: do not study without any clue, you should know how to score marks well, make your own questions and answer, you should always keep a track of your timing, spare some time at the end to re-check your answer paper etc. I guess I am not the only one who gets the chance to hear such advices. :)

We used to follow whatever our teachers advised us to score marks. Being an obedient student I was very fond of following such advices from my elders. I was always after them for such words as I didn't have anybody at home who could lead me in getting my higher education. But it didn't discourage me.

In fact, it always reminded me that I have to overcome from this. I had to prove that the child who never gets the chance to attend a good school, who doesn't have anybody to advise him in his family can also be a successful person.

Choosing a topic to write, argue or discuss on anything is must. And my topic is "how to score marks in exam." We need to follow a few techniques in exam. By techniques, I mean the length of the answer, clear handwriting, neat and clean answer paper, the requirement to follow the sequence of question no.etc.

These are in fact, the academic protocols. These may not be new points to some of us. But we always need to keep reminding to our young generation. And I hope that my book will help in reminding those youths. These points are always true; that's why I look upon them as Laiwa.

I don't have to explain and narrate to anybody how much I had to struggle to reach where I am now. But being a part of this society, I am aware of our condition. I know that I am not the only one in our society who had struggled to achieve education or anything. And I am also very cleared that I can't be their role model.

But as a senior I just want my juniors to retrieve that nothing is possible. Despite being helpless, I didn't lose my help. I was sticking to my goal like the shameless moss rose which has been uprooted many times but still, tries to grow. At the end, I would like to say that an advice is still an advice in any form. You just need to grasp it.
