The National Highway 2 (NH-2) has been cut off at Khongnem Thana in Senapati district following torrential rain for past 3-4 days.
The highway gave way and caved down early Saturday morning of October 24 2020.
The caved in road is about 10 metres deep, 15 metres wide and 40 metres long.
The place is along the Imphal-Mao road about 13 km from Senapati towards Mao.
