25th International AIDS Candle Lighting celebrated at Kangla hall Imphal on May 18 2008. Read news about this event here. The signature campaign started about the HIV/AIDS bill. In May 2002 there was an International policy makers conference on HIV/AIDS attended by Parliamentarians across party lines and the decision was unanimous that a law on HIV/AIDS should be brought in at the earliest.
