Solidarity Candlelight Vigil held in Bangalore on May 03 2026 ; Over 300 people, including Meiteis, Nagas, and local Kannadigas, participated in the candlelight vigil.
Manipuri diaspora living in Bangalore came together in large numbers to hold a candlelight vigil, expressing deep pain, sorrow, and resentment over the ongoing series of attacks on the indigenous population of the state of Manipur by illegal immigrants and Kuki armed groups.
The event was jointly organized by the Karnataka Meitei Association (KMA), Manipuri Meitei Association Bangalore (MMAB), and Bangalore Manipuri Students Association (BMSA).
