The Xth Phyahriipya Niih, a triennial festival celebrating the glorification of oneness organised by Phyamai Union was held at Phyabu on January 5 2014.
A Friendship Monolith signifying 'the peace treaty of friendship and feast of reconciliation' of 12 villages including Maram Khullen, Koide, Khongdei, Kami, Lekromi, Khonoma, Tunggam, PurulAkutpa, Kodom, Ngari, Saranamai and PurulAtongba was also unveiled.
Demonstration of traditional fire making, traditional dances, blowing of buffalo horn and indigenous trumpets and indigenous vibrate mouth organ play were displayed as a part of the festival.
