Distress & Winter Relief work for the Internally Displaced people living in relief camps distributed at Serou-Sugnu & nearby areas on 25th October, 2023,
In response to the earnest requests from the relief camps at Serou-Sugnu & nearby areas, a team from Ramakrishna Mission, Babupara, Imphal, reached out to the camps set up at Sherou, Sugnu, Mangjing, Tangjeng Khunjao, Chairel & Nungoo, under Sugnu A/c and Lamjao under Hiyanglam A/c, in Kakching District, and provided 729 Winter Blankets, 198 Health & Hygiene Kits, Mothers' Horlicks for Nursing & Expectant Mothers, Infant Milk, Stationaries for students, etc., benefiting more than 1376 people from 339 affected families taking shelter in 8 relief camps.
On 25th October, 60 Winter Blankets, 40 Kgs Milk Powder, Health Drinks, Soyabean Nuggets, Vaseline, Maggie & Biscuits, were provided for 110 displaced students staying at a special camp at Irom Meijrao, set up exclusively for the internally displaced students.
