Arambai Tengol summoned Meitei legislators inside Kangla fort which included all Meitei MLAs, RK Ranjan - Lok Sabha MP also Union Minister and Leisemba Sanajaoba - Raja Sabha MP, who is titular king of Manipur
After the meeting, leader of Arambai Tenggol, Korounganba Khuman, addressed the public at Ema Market, unveiling a set of six demands. The 6-point demands comprise implementing NRC with 1951 as base year, revoking Suspension of Operation agreement with Kuki militants, relocating all Myanmarese refugees to Mizoram, implementing border fencing, replacing Assam Rifles with other Central forces, and delisting Kukis from the Scheduled Tribes (ST) list.
