Four women hockey players from the Manipur in the Indian team, namely Pukhrambam Sushila Chanu (team captain); Th Pinky Devi (defender); Ningombam Sanarik Chanu (goalkeeper) and Mayengbam Lily Chanu (mid-filder) returned to Imphal Tulihal Airport, Manipur on 08 August 2013 after clinching the India's first ever bronze medal in the Seventh FIH Junior World Cup in Monchengladbach, Germany. On their arrival at Tulihal Imphal Airport, a host of people including officials of Manipur Hockey, hockey players, local clubs and associations, fans, family members extended a warm welcome to the four ace junior hockey players.
