Thokchom Rishikanta a 21 yrs working as Junior Sub Editior of local daily Imphal Free Press was gun down yesterday (17 Nov) late evening in the Imphal area. The Working Journalists of Manipur observed two minute silence, protest rally against the journalist killing and a memorandum was submitted to Chief Minister on the evening of November 18, 2008 .
