The curtain raiser ceremony of the commissioning of INS Imphal held on 22nd December 2023 at Kangla, Imphal.
Spot Painting Competition from Class VIII to Class IX was organised as a part of the ceremony inside the Kangla.
The INS Imphal was launched on 20th April 2019. It was named in recognition of the Indian Soldiers who fought in the Battle of Imphal during Second World War (World War II).
