Doctors in the state under the banner of Indian Medical Association (IMA) staged a protest rally to condemn the shocking and apparently premeditated attempt on the life of Prof. Dr. Taruni of the Department of Medicine, RIMS on 10th March 2014.
The rally, which started from the IMA Campus proceeded towards Uripok Canteen road and on to Uripok Kangchup Road which was also the location of Dr. Taruni's Clinic where the unfortunate attempt on her life was made on 7th march 2014.
