A strong protest against Racism in Delhi on February 14 2014, organised by concerned students of northeast from JNU, JNUSU, MSAD and other students organisation from Northeast participated, around 400 students participated.
After protest at parliament street, it went to Rashtrapati Bhavan. Near Rastrapati Bhavan, Delhi Police resort to lathi charge to the students. As per the statement from the students - 'The police intention was not to stop us but to beat us. It was a racist lathi charge!'
