People queues. Traffic jams. A few shop had to be shutdown and police had to intervene to prevent people from fighting and unwanted incidents from happening.
Even Health Minister Phungzathang Tonsing could not proceed. The District Administrator let public announcements be made at different parts of the city that there is no scarcity of salts in the district and anyone selling salts at higher than normal rates that their license will be cancelled.
