Manipuri Meitei Association Bangalore(MMAB) celebrated its 5th successive Ningol Chakkouba at Bangalore on Sunday, 15 November, 2015 witnessing a gathering of nearly three hundred people.

It was a hectic day for the executive committee members. The day began early at 6 o'clock in the morning and winded up at 7 in the evening.
The menu comprised of Nga Ataoba(fry fish curry), Nga Atoiba(mashed fish curry), Eromba, Sagul Hawai, Ngaringkha Angouba, Mangge Mahi, etc.
The president gave a welcome speech and showed our gratitude to Robert Naorem, our own well known beautician and stylist for presenting us his designer fabrics which was to be presented to the lucky Ningol of the day. It was a great sight to witness our Meitei Ningol's(ladies) donning traditional attire.
Before the lunch was served Wangmada vol IV, MMAB annual magazine was released in the presence of the guests. Post lunch, a steel plate as a Ningol Chakkouba gift was distributed to all the Ningol's followed by a lucky draw to pick Ningol of the day.
There was one round of Housie as a fun item. The curtain of the day rolled down with some Manipuri songs being presented by a band comprising one of our committee members.
Last but not the least, MMAB thanks all the people for being a part of our celebration and special thanks to all those who volunteered to lend their helping hands.
