One day state level dissemination workshop on CABA Pilot project by UNICEF ASSAM office and MACS was held at SIRD conference hall Imphal East DC complex on July 31 2012.
Jeroo Master Chief Field Officer UNICEF Assam office, L. Shyama devi Deputy director of ICDS, Dr. Mamata Mukherjee CMO and DAPCU Imphal East, Moses Challai Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare attended the workshop as Guest of honour, President and Chief Guest of the Function.
L Shyama said that there are 42 ICDS Project in Manipur, 9478 Anganwadi centre and 248 Anganwadi sub centre. And the social welfare department wing of ICDS is working for mother and child in the State.
Moses Challai said that integration of SSA, ICDS, NRHM and MACS is good and it should be done at the top level and the ground level.
The workshop was done to help bring down HIV infection and help in reversing the epidemic.
