A two-storeyed Tribal Market Shed constructed under the Manipur Development Society (MDS) at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore was inaugurated by MLA of 41-Chandel AC ST Nunghlung Victor and handed over to the public of Chakpikarong on 3rd August 2013.
