Imphal, February 28 2009:: In Today's matches of the ongoing 9th Khagemba Football Trophy organised by the Kyamgei Youth Pioneer Club (KYPC), Kyamgei Heibong Makhong SICO and KMYPA won after defeating their respective opponents.

Today's first match was played between Fire Hawk and SICO.

SICO defeated Fire Hawk 4-1 and won the first match.

The match was dominantly played by the players of SICO from the begining.

They tried at various moments to strike goals against Fire Hawk.

The first goal of the match was scored by L Lokendro of SICO in the 17th minute of the match.

The second match was scored by Malemnganba of SICO in the 23rd minute of the match.

In the second half.

Anand of Fire Hwak with full determination to equalise the score position played the match more substantially and managed to strike one goal against SICO in the 54th minute of the match.

After that Malemnganba of SICO striked another two goals against Fire Hawk in the 57th and 60th minute of the match and won the match.

KMYDA beat host KYPC (C) 4-2 and won the second match.

KMYDA dominated the whole match giving little chance for KYPC to score goals against them.

It was in the 11th minute of the match that K Shyamsunder of KMYDA scored the first goal.

H Daya in the 15th minute of the match scored the second goal for his team.

The other two goals of KMYDA were scored by M Ashok and K Shyamsunder in the 54nd and 65th minute of the match.

The two goals of KYPC were scored by Amuchou and Mitlang in the 19th and 65th minute of the match.

The match concluded with KMYDA winning by two goals.
