Wushu training camp concludes

Imphal, February 28 2009:: The State Wushu Trainig Camp 2009, organised by the Wushu Training School, Nachou which was commenced from February 13 last has concluded today at Nachou today.

Upa Adhyaksa, Bishnupur Zilla Parishad, O Jugeshwor graced the function as chief guest.

Senior Guest Lecturer, Moirang College, N Dev was the president of the closing function.

Commanding Officer, 4/8 GR, Colonel Rohit Naoliyal, Lt Col S Narayan, Founder Siku, Kungfu and Kick Boxing Federation of India Th Noren, Headmaster, Ningthoukhong High School, H Kulladhaja also participated the closing function as guests of honour.

Altogether 120 campers (85 men and 35 women) participated the training camp.

Each players displayed their bouts as a part of the closing ceremony.

It may be mentioned that the school had so far produced two national gold medalists and one international gold medalists in the field.
