Imphal, April 11 2009: Excellent opportunities are available in the army for qualified male citizens for being enrolled as direct JCO (Catering), Havildar Education and Havildar Surveyor Automated Cartographer.

Application duly filled are to be submitted by post or hand to the office of HQ Recruiting Zone by 25 April 2009 .

Further details and application forms can be obtained from the offices of the DC, DEO, Defence PRO (Kohima and Imphal), IGAR and Sector HQ of Assam Rifles and the Army Recruiting Office at Rangapahar (Dimapur) .

Candidates are warned not to fall prey to people posing as touts, agents or middlemen.

Recruitment into the army is voluntary, free and fair.

No money is required to be paid to any individual or agency.
