Imphal, March 07:
Reacting on the statement of Commerce and Industries Minister Y Irabot made in the State Assembly on March 6 regarding Hundung Cement Factory, Information Centre for Hill Areas Manipur (ICHAM) today asserted that the organisation would have hailed the Minister if he had proposed to revive the factory instead of privatising it.
ICHAM also expressed surprise over the statement of the Minister on how the factory would be privatised when it does not have even a single machine inside the factory complex and loads of limestone had already been deported by GREF in the last many years.
