Imphal, October 29 2012: A ten-day adventure camp would be organised by Manipur Adventure and Allied Sports Institute (MAASI) at MAASI complex, Keirao from November 1 .

The objectives of the camp are to create and foster the spirit of risk-taking, cooperative team work, capacity of ready and vital response to challenging situations and endurance; and to promote the spirit of national integration and communal harmony among the youth in particular and among the youths in general through different creative and innovative cultural activities, said a statement issued by MAASI.

MAASI would also support and open a stall during the forthcoming Manipur Sangai Festival 2012 to be organised by Tourism Department from November 21 to Nov 30 at Hapta Kangjeibung.

During the festival, MAASI would organise tour to Andro Cultural Complex, Kaina Temple, Nongmaiching Hill range for trekking and rock climbing, Iril river for rafting, and village Tourism Cheru and Shandangshemba Maring daily during the Sangai Festival.
