Three abducted in Ukhrul still untraced

Imphal, May 27 2011: Three persons including an Assamese who were kidnapped by suspected UG cadres on May 10from a place between Phange and Chatrick Khunou near Nambarok river in interior Ukhrul are still untraced.

Police has taken up a case against the kidnapping of the three persons, Ramsing Kashak (27) of Chatrik Khullen village, VS Chungmeisang (20) of Kharasom village and Mohon Kokul (40) of Assam on Tuesday (May 26) after 16 days of their abduction, and have launched a search operation to find the abducted persons.
