Imphal, October 26 2011: Naga Students' Federation (NSF) has strongly condemned the alleged physical assault meted out to its President J Kumo Sha by Assam Rifles under the command of Major Marathi, Commander of Kangpokpi AR Post at Senapati on October 24 night.

NSF while questioning the integrity of the Assam Rifles asserted that it has affirmed to stand for their rights and would not tolerate such 'atrocities' meted to a Naga student leader.

It added that NSF concurs and supports the memorandum submitted to the GOC of 57 Mountain Division by ANSAM, SDSA and Senapati District Women Association demanding termination of Major Marathi and all the the involved AR jawans from their service.
