Imphal, February 24 2009: The post of some of the IAS officers have been shuffled following an order issued by the Department of Personnel yesterday. Accordingly, Devesh Deval, who had been placed under suspension from being the Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong district has been reinstated and posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Chandel district.

Moreover, Norbert Disinang had been recently posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur district has been posted as the Director of FCS and Transport after relieving the charge from Aleng AS Shimray who would now discharge his duty as the Commissioner of Excise only.

Sumant Singh who had been recently posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul district has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur district and Ashokumar who was the Deputy Commissioner of Chandel district has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul district.
