Imphal, August 09 2010: Hmar National Army (HNA)'s 'finance secretary' Ramdin alias RD was found dead in Churachandpur district on Sunday.

He was said to be 26 years old.

According to the delayed reports received from the police, the HNA leader's lifeless body was come across by villagers of Laijangphai in Churachandpur district at around 10:30 am on Sunday.

His head was covered with a piece of cloth and his hands were tied from behind.

No bullet wound was found in the dead body.

It is suspected that Ramdin was beaten to dead.

The dead body was brought to RIMS morgue in Imphal today and after the post mortem the family members of the deceased claimed the body.Ramdin hailed from Parbung village of Churachandpur district.

No one has claimed responsibility for the killing.
