Imphal, March 07 2011: MLA Th Shyamkumar Singh today distributed bicycles among 62 selected Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) under three Primary Health Centres of Andro Assembly Constituency in Imphal East district today.

The bicycles were distributed during a function at Yairipok Yambem community hall.

The bicycles have been provided to the ASHAs under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).

MLA Shyam-kumar and MO in-charge of Nongpok Keithelmanbi PHC Dr Nillakanta Singh were respectively chief guest and president of the function which was also attended by MO in-charge of Andro PHC Dr S Bocha, MO in-charge of Yambem PHC Dr Dinibala Devi and MO in-charge (AYUSH) of the same PHC Dr Sangita Devi as guests of honour.
