Imphal, March 07 2009: Taking serious note of the discrepancies in Thabans (dates) of the calendars and diaries published for this year in the State causing confusion among the people, ACOAM-Lup has convened a joint meeting of all the publishers of the calendars an the dairies at its office at 10 am of March 10. Announcing this during a press conference at the office of ACOAM Lup this afternoon, its president Indrakumar Ningomba pointed in the light of such discrepancies and to bring about uniformity, there is the need to set up a State level committee to look after the affairs.

After the proposed joint meeting on March 10, a workshop attended by various experts in the field would also be organised to adopt various resolutions to bring about uniformity in the publication of the calendars and the diaries.

In future, no one should come out with any publication of calendars and diaries which are not in consonance with the resolutions.
