Imphal, March 06 2009: A state level sensitisation workshop on decentralising HIV services in Imphal West was held at Hotel Nirmala today, conveyed a press release.

The programme was coordinated SAATHI (Solidarity and Action Against HIV Infection in India SAATHI.

The workshop focused on the concept of decentralisation using the WHO's Integrated Management of Adolescent and Adult Illnesses (IMAI) approach.

Incidentally, SAATHI is implementing joint UN programme in Imphal West in partnership with MACS and NRHM, Imphal West.

Today's sensitisation programme was graced by Commissioner, Health and Family Welfare V Vumlunmang as chief guest.
