Imphal, November 20 2009:
According to an online opinion poll conducted by School Education Department on the ongoing indefinite class movement, 47.3 percent of the voters disapproved the movement while 17.5 percent are in favour of it.
The remaining voters have mixed response.
So far 74 persons have given their votes in the online opinion poll launched since October 9 on the website www.manipureducation.gov.in.
The online poll is still open.
Notably, class attendance still remains minimal across the valley districts in spite of the Government's efforts to resume class fully.
On the other hand, the period of enquiry for the Justice Agarwal Commission of Enquiry has been extended up to December 31 .
