Imphal, October 29 2012: A two-day capacity building of Meira Paibis of Imphal West district was held on October 27 and 28 at the conference hall of Human Rights Initiative (HRI) .

The programme was organised by the HRI in collaboration with Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, an autonomous body under te Ministry of Culture, New Delhi, informed a statement issued by HRI.

Around 30 Meira Paibi members have participated in the programme.

Resource persons of the capacity building programme included O Jiten, Faculty member, Centre for Human Rights and Duties, MU; Advocate Paikhomba; W Joykumar, Exe Dir, HRI; Advocate M Rakesh, Director of HRLN and Th Ramani, secretary of Nupi Samaj.
