Imphal, October 29 2012: A dead body has been found in a gorge near Barak bridge about 19 Kms from Nungba.

Police have retrieved the corpse and brought it to Nungba police station.

The deceased appeared to be around 40 years of age and looked like a Meitei.

He was wearing a half-pant and a brown shirt.

The deceased of medium build was 5'2" in height.

He had an injury mark on the forehead.

The corpse would be brought to RIMS for post mortem tomorrow.
