Imphal, April 09 2011: Unidentified miscreants set aflame a BTS tower of the private mobile service provider, Airtel located at Langol under Lamphel Police Station in Imphal West district last night.

The incident occurred at around 8 pm yesterday.

The AC room where PIU machine is normally kept has been destroyed in the fire, beyond redemption.

No harm, however, had been caused to another tower of Aircel, which is located just adjacent to the targeted Airtel tower.
