Eight injured in mishap

Lamka, March 06 2009: Eight passengers of a Lamka bound �Direct' bus were injured, at least one of them seriously after the mini-bus they were traveling crashed on a roadside tree and uproot near Ningthoukhong in Bishnupur sub-division.

One of the injured, said to be the most critical of them was taken to capital for treatment while two were admitted at the district hospital here.

The rest were discharge after administering first aid.

The mini-bus that directly ferry passengers from here to Imphal and vice-versa was owned by one Thangchinlian Simte of Simveng here.
