Imphal, April 09 2011: Following the threats issued by a certain group as published in some local dailies on April 8 to Airtel tower land owners and care-takers, tower service of Airtel company has been shut down from today.

A press release issued by the All Manipur Airtel Workers' Union said that they would suspend their service until and unless Airtel company and the particular organisation come to an agreement.
