Imphal, February 24 2009: The Zeliangrong Youth Front (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) (ZYF) has organized its annual assembly at Luwanglong Village under Nungba sub-division of Tamenglong District today.

Former president of Zeliangrong Union (ZU), Namdon Gangmei, President of ZYF, Poujeng Kamei and former vice president of ZU, Adi Rongmei graced the function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Poujeng Kamei said that assembly of ZYF is held occasionally at different places, ZYF honour other communities while it was established to face intimidations from other groups of people.

ZYF condemned the brutal killing of SDO Kishan and his two other staffs and also appealed to all underground groups to come up with civilized actions.
