Imphal, March 31 2009: State government has accorded sanction to a fund amounting to Rs 1.17,76,200 for payment of pensions to the beneficiaries of the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme and National Benefit Scheme.

The sanctioned funds included Rs, 1,01,99,200 for payment of pensions to 50,996 beneficiaries for one month under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme and payment of National Family Benefit Scheme to 227 beneficiaries at the rate of Rs 10,000 per beneficiary, the order of the government issued today said.
