Imphal, May 15: Complaint has been raised over the delayed in completion of the works to be executed under PMGSY scheme package no.MN-0602 Phase-II concerning construction of the road stretch from Lakhamei to Khongdei via Phuba Thapham Liyai Road.

According to a statement jointly signed by chairman of Khoubumai (Phuba Thapham) village P Danii and chairman of Phuba Khuman RS Veipunii, apart from carrying out the work not in accordance to the prescribed norms, the special contractor of the PWD to whom the work was assigned is learnt to have submitted the work completion report and the process underway to prepare the bill.
