Imphal, February 19 2009: The Khurai Assembly constituency MLA, Dr Ng Bijoy has inaugurated a community hall, which is constructed with financial assistance from the Manipur Development Society (MDS) and LADF of the MLA, today at Phaknung Mayai Leikai.

Inaugurating the community hall, Dr Bijoy said that the hall will be of public use and it is being constructed only for the public.

He also extolled the people not to leave their place whenever they attain sound economy and settled in other places.

The occasion was attended among others by L Mohan, and Ch Manglemba, pradhan of Kangla gram panchayat as the president and guest of honour respectively.

A two-minute silence was also observed by the gatherings as a mark of paying abeyance to the three departed souls, including Dr Kishan, who lost their lives at the hands of some miscreants.
