Imphal, January 23: Under the overall supervision of Manipur Forward Youth Front (MAFYF), General Council, MAFYF Keirao Branch organised the 5th Run for Motherland from Keirao to Thiyam Konjin.

A large number of students and members of various clubs participated in the race.

The race was organised as part of the continuing efforts to raise the demand for repeal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act, 1958, save the life of Sharmila, restore right to life and oppose construction of Tipaimukh dam.
