Imphal, July 10:
Defence Minister AK Antony today flagged in an Indian Army Mount Everest Expedition.
The 23 member team is led by Lt Col IS Thapa with Captain NS Chandel as the deputy leader, said PIB (Defence Wing) in a statement.
The expedition was flagged off on March 20 this year and the first batch of the team scaled the peak on May 15 with the second batch doing the same the next day.
