Condemnations of the Khwairamband Bazar incident, demands for termination of the involved commandos from their service and demands for CM's resignation are still pouring in from all quarters.
All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) in a press release alleged that the Chief Minister is responsible for the current unrest prevailing in the State.
The students' body asserted that the security forces can kill anybody as CM gives freehand to them.
Instead of fulfilling the demands of the people, Ibobi imposes curfew to control the public uprising, AMSU said and added that students are not able to attend school due to the imposition of curfew.
Heirangoithong Bazar Area Women Welfare Association condemned police action meted out to the agitators of the sit-in-protest staged at Heirangoithong Bazar today.
The association also demanded for CM's resignation and termination of the involved commandos from their service.
Nupi Khunai Chaokhat Lamjing Lup also condemned the way of dispersing protesters of a sit-in-protest staged at Khoyathong by police.
Pledging support to the agitations of Apunba Lup, the body also demanded for CM's resignation.
Federation of Regional Indigenous Societies (FRIENDS) said that the public uprising cannot be suppressed with the arrest of a few key functionaries of Apunba Lup.
While expressing concern over the prevailing situation of the State, All Manipur Bar Association pledged support to the agitations of JAC and Apunba Lup.
Manipur Keithel Phambi Apunba Lup while asserting that people's agitation cannot be suppressed with the imposition of curfew demanded immediate resignation of O Ibobi from Chief Ministership.
The association said that it has decided to take up further course of agitation if the demand is not fulfilled.
SLUCO, Ching-Tam Social Workers' Union, All Manipur Muslims Development Organisation, Khomidok Athletic Sporting Club, Pioneer Eleven Sporting Union (PESU) and Students Federation of India Manipur State Council also pledged support to the ongoing agitation.
The organisations also demanded for immediate resignation of O Ibobi from CM's post.
