While taking serious note of the outbreak, a top official of the State Health Department informed that a medical team would be send to the at the border town along with the required medicines at the earliest possible.
According to report, the problem of the people in the border town has been compounded as the required medicines are not available owing to the ongoing economic blockade imposed on the two National Highways.
Moreover, in the absence of specialist doctors at Moreh Hospital, many patients have referred to advanced health centres at Imphal.
Commenting on detection of one Swine flu case in Manipur and the subsequent measures taken up to prevent its spread , the official said a training programme on the disease would be conducted for the members of the Rapid Response Team (RRT) at Imphal next Monday.
