Imphal, February 24 2009:
The Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) has called upon all revolutionary groups to join hands and work in close coordination.
A press release issued by the outfit's information and publicity secretary C Rocky said until revolutionary groups of the land succeed in bring closer coordination amongst themselves even after the brutal murder of SDO Th Kishan and his two staff has provided the crucial impulse to bring unity, no positive way can be realised by any revolutionary group.
Quoting from the Bible that "Faith without work is death", the outfit asserted that just words cannot guarantee the goals of the revolutionary groups unless they join hands and work together under an understanding.
Remarking that the Naga reconciliation meeting held at Kohima on February 22 was a failure, the MNRF asserted that the meet failed as people did not take it as correct agenda.
Sharing the opinion of foreign dignitaries Dr Yan Ariens and Dr Diana Francis Quakers from England who took part in the reconciliation meet that Naga reconciliation would be hard to realise yet the process should be carried on, the outfit noted that the observation of the foreign dignitaries was based on people's lack of faith.
The Forum for Naga Reconciliation, allegedly constituted under the aegis of NSCN (IM) reportedly maintained that Naga reconciliation should be brought at the highest political level.
But the MNRF is of the opinion that Naga reconciliation should start from grass roots level.
