It is reported that she was rushed to Thoubal District Hospital following complaints of dizziness and nausea after taking three anti-malaria pills at about 2 pm.
After she passed away, family members went to Thoubal police station to report the death in accordance with the instruction of the doctors.
However, Thoubal police, citing many cases of arson, vandalism and other destructive activities perpetrated by parental families of deceased women in the recent past, held back Inao there.
Following registration of a case in this connection at Thoubal PS, post mortem examination of the corpse was conducted at Lilong PHC.
A late report informed that police have deposited the corpse at RIMS mortuary following a dispute between the families of the in-laws and parents of the woman.
