NPF invites

While "cordially" inviting everyone to take part in the formal launching of ceremony of the Manipur unit of Naga People's Party (NPF) at Senapati on Saturday, leaders of the party said that the sole aim is to encompass and work together with all communities irrespective of caste, creed, colour, contours and also with all the like-minded political parties so as to give more teeth in bringing about peace and progress in the region, reports NNN.
NPF Manipur state unit president G Gaingam and its political affairs secretary Ningreingam Ruivah expressed their optimism that the regional political party will do well in the state.
The party came to power in Nagaland after the year 2003 Assembly elections at the head of the coalition DAN and in its second term in office.
Meanwhile, on behalf of the party, G.Gaingam and Ningreingam Ruivah have extended "cordial" invitation to all leaders of political parties, social organisations, student bodies, women and youth organisations, church and its associations, tribe based organisations, the peasants, intellectuals, academics and professionals of the state to "attend and be part of this auspicious occasion" .
Gaingam and Ruivah also said leaders from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will participate in the Saturday ceremony at Senapati.
