Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) wants to install a government that hears people�s voice and serve the people, said its state unit president, former Chief Minister Radhabinod Koijam today speaking at the one day political conference of the Wangoi Kendra Committee of the party at Samurou today.
Speaking as chief guest on the occasion, Radhabinod further said that NCP has been organising series of political conference only to take stoke of what people expected from the government and what are their grievances.
Improving road communications, constructing high government buildings is not part of saving Manipur.
To nurture youngsters from the grass root level for becoming perfect pillar of the nation, to solve issues ahead of the peopleby bringing out long lasting solutions are the indispensable tasks of the government to save the state, he observed.
Manipur is the origin of all sort of violence escalating across the north eastern region of the country.
It is not him saying but even the Prime Minister had mentioned repeatedly at several occasions.
People of the state also know it well.
The present government is ready to solve any of the problems arising out in the state.
They take no initiative to control the sky rocketing, Radhabinod blamed.
A true government of the people should share to the people�s woe and find ways and policies to relief the people from clutch of woe.
But to install a good government lies in the hand of the people, he observed.
Some section of the society criticized politicians at their best.
This is not true.
They should know that there are many good politicians having their own ideology and integrity.
To drag down all when some are bed is not a right one, he went to observe.
The political conference was also attended by local MLA of Wangoi A/C, Salam Joy and other leaders of the party.
